Fall is Here

Good Thursday everyone!!

Lots of folks waking up across Western North Carolina with frosty conditions. Temperatures this morning have fallen into the 30's throughout the area. A few locations in the North Carolina Mountains have even seen some scattered snow showers. No major accumulations!

Thursday we will see sunny skies, but it is going to very cool. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50's. So it is going be pretty fall like. By Thursday night we will see the High Pressure start to move off the coast and a more southerly flow will develop and that will lead to a warmer Friday. Highs may push to 70 degrees. So a pleasant start to your weekend.

Saturday a cold front will move into the area, and give the area another widespread rainfall event. Many areas will see another .5" -1.5" of rain. Saturday will be pretty cool as well, as highs will be in the upper 50's. Rain continues Saturday night, but should start to clear out by Sunday morning. By midday Sunday, we should see partly cloudy skies and some breezy conditions. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 50's.

By Monday, we gradually start to warm up under sunny skies, and temps will start in the low 60's and by next Wednesday we should be in the upper 60's.

Have a great day!
