Good Tuesday everyone! I hope that your day is off to a good start!
Today's weather will be Chamber of Commerce type of day. We will see mostly sunny skies, a few high level clouds may move in and out. Temperatures will be unseasonably warm with highs topping out in the low to mid 60's.
Tonight will feature a very weak system to move to our south, it may move close enough to mange a shower or sprinkle especially in our southern communities, otherwise it will be partly to mostly cloudy with lows near 40.
A cold front will approach the area on Wednesday. We will start the day off fairly cloudy. There is a slight chance of a few showers to develop throughout the day. It will be cooler as a wedge might temporarily set up. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low to mid 50's.
The aforementioned cold front will stall out across the area and send areas of disturbance along the front. That will provide a wet period Thursday - Saturday. As of right now, it doesn't look like we will see a lot of rain, it will be light in variety with precipitation totals between 1/2" - 1". I don't think this will present any flooding issues for the area. The decent side to this will be the temperatures. We should find our self on the warmer side of the stalled front. Thursday - Saturday will feature temperatures in the upper 50's to low 60's. We can't rule out a few thunderstorms on Saturday if we can initiate some instability.
As of now, I will forecast a decent Sunday with partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low to mid 40's. The weather pattern looks to turn cold and unsettled with the chance of seeing some wintry precipitation in the forecast area next week. Still a lot of uncertainty on temperatures, timing, and precipitation type. If you're a fan of winter weather, you may have a shot at seeing some!
Have a great day!
