Good Tuesday everyone!
A backdoor cold front is moving through the area, that should start to diminish any fog or mist that is in the area. It will be hard to get rid of the clouds, but we should see some of the clouds start to dissipate through the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50's. If we see more sunshine, we could see those temperatures rise a little higher than expected.
High pressure will be in control over the next several days.
Wednesday will be a quiet day weather wise as high pressure is due north of Western North Carolina. That will provide sunny skies and highs in the upper 50's. By Thursday high pressure will begin to move eastward. That will switch our wind direction, we should see a more southwesterly wind move into the area. That will allow for warmer temperatures to move into the area for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We should be in the low 70's by Friday and Saturday under mostly sunny skies.
A storm system will approach the area by Saturday evening. We will see on and off showers on Sunday. If the system slows anymore they could be left over showers on Monday as well.
Have a great day!
