Sunshine Returns!

Good Monday everyone! I hope that your day is off to a great start! It’s finally good to see some sunshine isn’t?


Well if you like the sunshine, today is your day. High pressure will move into the area, that should also help calm the winds as well. With ample sunshine we should warm into the upper 50’s to possibly low 60’s. Tuesday will be almost a carbon copy of Monday. We could see a few mid to high level clouds move into the area Tuesday afternoon. It will be another seasonably mild day with highs reaching the low to possibly mid 60’s. It would be a great day to get outside and have lunch.


As we enter the midweek portion, we start to see precipitation chances increase. We will see the winds switch to a more northeasterly to easterly flow. This will give us a classic Cold Air Daming set up. Moisture looks to run into the area on Wednesday giving us a cloudy day with a chance of showers. Temperatures will respond as well as highs will low 50’s. Thursday another shot of precipitation moves into the area as a low pressure tries to develop in the southeast. This will allow for a Southwesterly flow to develop this will bring our high temperatures into the low 60’s range. This will also allow for rain to move into the area on Thursday and Friday. There could be some heavy rain, so we will have to monitor the chance at seeing some flooding issues.


A cold front is forecasted to move through the area on Saturday, ahead of this front we could see some heavy rain set up and the potential of a few gusty thunderstorms. Behind the front we could see some mountain snow showers Saturday evening. Sunday will be much cooler with high temperatures in the mid to upper 40’s under sunny skies and breezy conditions.
