Good Thursday morning to everyone,
Low pressure has moved inland overnight and northward into Central Virginia, meanwhile a weak frontal boundary and low will slide in from the west.
A few sprinkles are scattered about at this time, later today they will grow into a few heavier rain showers. The best rain chance looks to be in the afternoon and early evening hours as the timing of this system has slowed a bit overnight.
Highs today’s are expected to range from the mid to upper 50’s across the region.
Rainfall amounts look to be light, with the heaviest totals of around .10 to .20 possible.
Have a great day!
