'Twas a Week before Christmas

Good Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend!

This will be a fairly short update, because the weather is mostly going to be calm.

Monday through Wednesday we will see mostly sunny skies as high pressure sets up near the area. Temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 50's. Wednesday, we may be a a few degrees cooler as clouds will increase ahead of our next storm system. Lows will be around freezing each morning.

Thursday another low pressure with robust moisture will move through the area. Rain begins early Thursday morning. Rain should last through midday Friday. It will be fairly chilly as well, with highs in the 40's. Another 1-2" is expected across the area. This could push record rainfall accumulations into higher territory or getting numbers closer to the record.

This weekend actually looks to be pretty awesome as the clouds will move out and the sun comes out. Can anyone remember the last dry weekend we had?
