Week Ahead Outlook

Here is what the forecast is going to look like this week for the area.

Starting with the short term....

There will be a cold front coming into the area on Monday which is going to be bringing rain with it. We can not rule out thunderstorms in the area in the afternoon on Monday. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60's. Once the cold front comes through the area its going to bring colder temperatures into the area. The overnight hours into Tuesday morning temperatures fall into the low 40's. Due to the cold air coming out the northeast the high temperatures are going to be 10 to 15 degrees below what they were on Monday. As we go into the morning hours on Wednesday low temperatures bottom out in the low to mid 30's. We stay cool and dry through the day on Wednesday due to the High Pressure that is going to be located to our north that will help keep our high temperatures in the mid 50's.

Mid-Term Timeframe....

The high pressure that was responsible for keeping our temperatures cool during the midweek will end up breaking down throughout the day on Thursday and that will allow our temperatures return to normal by the end of the week. As we go into the morning hours of Thursday the area will see a low temperature in the mid 30's. High temperatures in the area will end up making it into the low 60's Friday Afternoon which is much better to see than what occurs in the middle of the week. As we go into the overnight hours into Friday morning we will end up seeing temperatures in the the upper 30's to low 40's. With the warmer air starting to come back into the area again we end up seeing a high temperature for the area back to normal reaching the mid to upper 60's.
